Reset defaults

I purchased a SkyRadar D unit second hand recently and was wondering if there is a way to set the wifi SSID  back to some default value as opposed to what the previous owner set. I am familiar with using Telnet.

Also how do I know the firmware version and if required, can I update it myself

Is there a way to check the performance of the unit?
