USB Power?

I recently acquired a used "original" SkyRadar and was curious about the purpose of the mini-USB connector. Can it be used to power the SkyRadar? I have 2 ship's power USB connectors on the pilot's side and that would be a lot more convenient than using the cigarette lighter socket on the co-pilot's side.

SkyRADARSupport:
No USB port only for data output.
