Title: SkyRadar L with Android Phone & iFly app
Post by: jaustinmd on December 12, 2015, 06:50:53 AM
I have an older SkyRadar L. It works flawlessly with my iFly 740! Recently, attempted to use it on a Droid (Android) phone with the iFly app.  The phone did not detect the SkyRadar0001 wifi signal. I've heard that older SkyRadar models are incompatible with Android phones and tablets because they don't support Ad-Hoc wifi.

I read elsewhere that one work-around is to use a portable USB-powered router (I have a USB power outlet on my panel). Can someone explain how to accomplish this? Does one use the configuration utility available on SkyRadar's website to re-configure then SkyRadar L?  If reconfiguration is required, does this then affect wifi communication with the iFly 740?

Thanks,
John
